The Stables

StoneHouse Stables is a self-catering farmhouse located on a tranquil working dairy farm, situated approximately 20 km from the town of Stanford. The farm is the ideal base from which to explore this part of the Overberg region.

 This rustic yet charming farmhouse can accommodate 12 guests and comprises 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have a double bed in each, and the other three bedrooms each have 2 single beds. There is also an outdoor bathroom with a shower and bath. The spacious well-equipped kitchen contains the necessary appliances to prepare and cook meals.

 The open-plan living area features a built-in fireplace and leads out to the enclosed boma and fireplace. Guests are welcome to take walks or go swimming or canoeing in the river on the farm or visit the shop on site to buy local dairy produce.

 Stonehouse Stables is also conveniently situated approximately 30 km from Hermanus and Gaansbaai, and 132 km from Cape Town International Airport.
